at Desert Detailing is to improve and restore whatever we touch. It needs to leave in better shape than it was found.
My name is Michael Ermann and I have been detailing, improving, and helping people my whole life! Desert Motors Detailing is a natural progression for me after the virus and a parasite or two took hold of my 12 yr career as the National Sales Manager for a global PPE company. For 14 years before this, I owned, managed, and operated a successful Dental Laboratory specializing in Orthodontics. This was also an incredibly tedious and detail oriented profession. Detailing vehicles is something I have always enjoyed since I was a child, and I now have over 40 years of experience. I love mechanics, carpentry, and building things. Desert Detailing now gives me the opportunity to do what I truly love, and that is to detail, tune, tinker on, restore, and buy and sell cars, bikes, and other vehicles. I love classics and specialize in show quality, high level detailing and pushing to the limits of perfection. Whether it is an exotic or a daily driver my greatest satisfaction is making someone happy with their ride!
ART by definition: The expression or application of human creative skill and imagination usually in a visual form. The art of detailing is more than just cleaning and hygiene. It is pushing to the edge of perfection. How far it is taken is a combination of time and effort. Mostly it is a futile effort, as chaos and invariability take over. However, once in a while passion brings together the large combination of elements of finding the balance of too little or too much. That is what I love about Detailing!
Striving for Perfection is often fleetingly impossible, time intensive, or expensive. But there is no satisfaction like pushing to the point between Yin and Yang. How far do you want to take it?
